Compliance and documents
The regulatory declarations of conformity for our products and Siderticino's commercial documents. For specific requests or versions signed on letterhead, contact our sales office.
The steel products distributed by Siderticino are considered "articles" within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH). Under normal and reasonably foreseeable conditions of use they do not intentionally release substances and are therefore not subject to registration requirements or to the provision of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Based on the information received from our suppliers, the products do not contain substances of very high concern (SVHC) included in the Candidate List at a concentration above 0.1% by weight. Should an SVHC be present above that threshold, Siderticino will provide the information required for safe use pursuant to Article 33 of the Regulation.
The steel products supplied by Siderticino - bars, plates and steel semi-finished products - are raw materials and semi-finished products and do not in themselves fall within the scope of Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS II), which concerns electrical and electronic equipment (EEE).
Where used in the manufacture of EEE, based on the available information the materials comply with the concentration limits set by the directive for the restricted substances: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE and the phthalates DEHP, BBP, DBP and DIBP.
