This material is ideally suited for the manufacture of bearing rings, balls, rollers and components subject to high surface pressures. The spheroidised structure ensures excellent machinability prior to final heat treatment.
Supply in the spheroidise annealed condition ensures a controlled hardness of 170-210 HB, allowing excellent machining prior to final quenching, which can achieve hardness levels exceeding 62 HRC.
